Newcastle Civic Centre Wedding

The Leazes Room

Martha and Bertie chose to have a Newcastle Civic Centre wedding, with just their parents and siblings as guests. They opted for the Leazes Room, a beautiful, light-filled room which seats up to 50. Ceremonies in the Leazes Room can include exchanges of rings, music, readings and personal vows (unlike the smaller Register Office or Carliol Rooms, which don’t allow for the extra touches beyond the exchange of rings.) You can find out more about getting married at Newcastle Civic Centre here.

Cool Newcastle City Weddings

The Newcastle Civic Centre is one of the coolest places to get married, having been built in the 1960s and still retaining the most incredible mid-century interiors. It is absolutely bursting with photo opportunities inside and out!

Newcastle Civic Centre Wedding Photos

My “The Mini One” package was ideal for Martha and Bertie’s needs - just an hour and a half of photography coverage, capturing a small amount of pre-ceremony, the ceremony itself, confetti, formal group shots and shots of just the two of them (both at the Civic Centre and in a stunningly autumnal Jesmond Dene).

If you are planning a Register Office wedding at the Newcastle Civic Centre or at one of the Northumberland Register Offices of Alnwick, Morpeth Town Hall, Hexham House, my Mini package is exactly what you need - see my Packages page to see everything we could cover and what’s included.
