I’m Alex and I’m a Northumberland based wedding & newborn photographer for people who want real moments captured, not fake moments set up. Read on for a bit about me and whether I’m the right photographer for you.

I’m engaged to my long-time other half, Scott. Together we have a son called Bobby who is almost 5 years old (and sassy as hell!) and a baby girl called Ada. Are you a dog person? We’ve got a Bracco Italiano called Eva, she’ll run off for hours then reappear like nothing happened. But she’s cute, so what can I do?

I like being outdoors. You’ll often find us at Kielder searching for artworks or when we can, we love to head up to the West Highlands to feel really small next to the mountains in Glen Coe.

I like 90s music, McDonald’s food, interior design and especially taking the photographs that you’ll look at year after year - photographs become so valuable, a window into a time passed.

About

Am I the right wedding photographer for you?

I love working with couples who make their day their own in whichever ways mean something to them. Maybe you're having a big wedding with a personal, meaningful ceremony, wild, romantic florals, street food and live music or you’re getting married at a city registry office in a jumpsuit or on a mountain with a celebrant doing handfasting - I’m there with bells on.

If you invite me to photograph your wedding, you’ll find I take a documentary approach for most of the day (like a ninja, capturing the atmosphere without anyone even knowing I’m there!) and when it’s time for portraits of you as a couple or your group shots, I’ll give you gentle direction so you get those wall-worthy images you’ve dreamt of.

If that sounds good to you, then fill in my contact form, give me some basic details and I’ll be in touch really soon.
